FABRICE GINNETTE MEJIA
Fabrice Ginnette is of Colombian, Italian, and German decent. She majored in piano at Manhattan School of Music and attended high school at Saint Vincent Ferrer in New York City. At Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, she majored in Media Communications with a concentration in Radio and Television.
While simultaneously studying at FDU, Fabrice began her radio career as Production Coordinator and Producer of the morning show on 93.1 Amor, where she stayed for five years. She became Production Manager for Maximas Productions & AIM-Tell-A-Vision and their shows such as American Latino TV, LatiNation & Sonidos, a bilingual magazine show nationally syndicated. Her next professional phase began when she started working for Sirius XM Satellite Radio in the programming department. She became an on-air talent and started her show with Banana Hammock on Sirius Hits 1 (Top 40/CHR).
Fabrice was also a traffic producer for Clear Channel Communications, Z100 WHTZ and Total Traffic Network for the Tri-state area. She has also worked for Telemundo, as an on-camera reporter during festivals, parades and special events in the community. She currently co-hosts, in the mornings, on 93.1 (NY, NJ, CT & PA) Monday – Friday, 6am-10am.
Fabrice has been a voiceover artist for 10 years, and has lent her voice to promos and both television and radio commercials. She's just landed Revlon's new TV make-up campaign. Other commercial campaigns she's worked on include: Garnier Fructis, McDonalds, Johnson & Johnson, Stein Mart, and Shoe Carnival. She's also acted in an independent film, "Opposites Detract".
Fabrice is well-travelled, and had the opportunity to travel to France through a French-American exchange, being one of the eight women chosen to participate. She has also visited Asia for three months, exploring places such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Mongolia and China with the youth chorale of the General Board of Global Ministries. She loves everything that has to do with her cultural background, from the food to the folklore.
